The Project

I developed MicroCare SecureGate, a customer-facing digital media duplication system that operates on unattended MS Windows kiosks. The system securely rips, encrypts, and transmits digital media—including data, video, and audio from DVDs, CDs, and USBs—to a central server, which stores and organizes encrypted forensic data.

Objectives

• Create a robust system to copy, encrypt, and transfer digital media securely to a central server.
• Design an intuitive kiosk interface suitable for non-technical users.
• Ensure secure data transfer with checksums to prevent tampering.
• Build an easy-to-use admin panel for data management and analysis.
• Integrate with Active Directory for authentication and permission control.
